In the early morning hours of May 19, 2019, the life of 40-year-old Jamie Thomas-Flowers was tragically cut short in her Muskegon Heights, Michigan, home. The female victim was shot and killed by her husband, Vashon Flowers, in a violent culmination of a domestic dispute. The argument that preceded the fatal incident reportedly began over cigarettes, as the couple had recently decided to quit smoking.
