Jari Jua Jaafar, a 42-year-old tattoo artist from Clinton Township, Michigan, was found dead in his apartment on Hickory Lane on May 16, 2020. The police were called to the scene early that morning, just before 2 a.m., and discovered Jaafar with a gunshot wound. Upon entering the unlocked apartment, officers immediately smelled fresh gunpowder, indicating that the shooting had occurred recently.
