In the early morning hours of July 5, 2020, a promising career in public service was tragically cut short with the death of 30-year-old DeAndree Watson. A policy analyst for the Detroit City Council, Watson was discovered deceased inside his vehicle in Westland, Michigan. The discovery was made after Westland Police officers responded to an OnStar panic button notification that led them to the 37400 block of Willow Lane at the Willow Creek Apartments.
