Joseph Austin McClendon, a 21-year-old resident of Redford Township, was tragically found shot to death in his car on March 28, 2015, in Westland, Michigan. The incident occurred on the Westland side of Henry Ruff Street near Annapolis Avenue. Police responded to reports of gunshots and discovered McClendon inside a copper-colored Ford Explorer. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
