Darius Whiting, a 48-year-old resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan, was found dead on September 23, 2020, in Dearborn, Michigan. His body was discovered in a pickup truck near Michigan Avenue and Schlaff Street around 5:30 p.m. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and authorities quickly determined that the shooting did not appear to be a random act. The Dearborn Police Department immediately launched an investigation, urging anyone with information to come forward.
