Carlesa Leyna Taylor, an 18-year-old from Detroit, Michigan, tragically lost her life on February 25, 2021. She was one of the victims in a shooting incident that occurred while she was driving with her friend, 17-year-old Terrance Armour, and another mutual friend. The group was traveling near Schoolcraft and Ashton when someone in a silver Dodge Durango opened fire on their vehicle. Both Carlesa and Terrance were killed in the attack, while their friend sustained serious injuries.
