In the early hours of March 21, 2021, a life was tragically cut short in the concrete confines of the Motor City Casino parking garage in Detroit. Kermit McCants, a 25-year-old Black male from Clinton Township, was fatally shot following a dispute. The incident unfolded around 1:48 a.m. on the second level of the parking structure, a place that would become the final scene of McCants' life.
