In the summer of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Saginaw, Michigan neighborhood, leaving two people dead in its wake. Among the victims was Dammess Lamont Remante Patillo, a 44-year-old male. The violent incident that claimed his life, and that of 26-year-old Tamarea Shenille Steward, unfolded on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
