In the late summer of 2021, the city of Saginaw, Michigan, was struck by a tragedy that cut short the life of a young man. Tyrone Simmons Jr., a 26-year-old male, was killed on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. A lifelong resident of Saginaw, he was a father who deeply loved his family, especially his children. He was known to enjoy both watching and playing basketball and was a graduate of the E.T.C. Academy in Saginaw.
The incident that led to his untimely death was a result of gun violence.
