In the summer of 2022, the life of 34-year-old Cortez DAngelo Owens was cut short in a burst of gunfire in Bay City, Michigan. On the evening of Sunday, June 26th, police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Owens had been fatally wounded. At the time of his death, Owens himself was a wanted man, with a murder warrant issued for his alleged involvement in a separate deadly shooting that had occurred on Father's Day in Saginaw.
