In the late hours of a Tuesday in Saginaw, Michigan, a family bond was irrevocably broken by an act of violence. Larney Lerkendrick Larnell Boyd, a 42-year-old man, was shot and killed on September 13, 2022. The tragedy unfolded at a residence on South 12th Street, a place that should have been a sanctuary but instead became a scene of sorrow.
