Derrick Lawrence "Spot" Sanders, a 45-year-old resident of Lamar, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2014. His body was discovered off Highway 7 North and Sexton Road in Lamar, with severe and gruesome injuries. Initial reports indicated that Sanders' throat was slashed, he had multiple gunshot wounds, and his ear was cut off. His naked body was found in a ditch, with his clothing scattered nearby.
