In the quiet community of Benndale, near Perkinston, Mississippi, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragic and fatal encounter for 76-year-old Horace Dixon. On December 10, 2014, Horace and his 64-year-old wife, Cheria, were found in a vehicle, both having suffered from gunshot wounds. Horace was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife was rushed to Singing River Hospital in critical condition.
