Elifelet Nunez Sanchez, a 22-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on March 5, 2016. Sanchez was one of the victims in a violent weekend that saw multiple shootings in Jackson. He and 27-year-old Daniel Gomez were shot multiple times during an apparent robbery while they were grilling in their front yard on South Westhaven Drive.
