In the early morning hours of April 27, 2016, a fatal encounter unfolded in the parking lot of a C&J Quick Stop in Pass Christian, Mississippi, forever altering the lives of a local family. Darrin Charles Scarborough, a 50-year-old white male, was shot and killed during a dispute.
