Michael Daniel Barker, aged 42, tragically passed away on September 8, 2016, in Greenwood, Leflore County, Mississippi. Born on May 9, 1974, in Redwood City, California, Barker had spent most of his life in the Greenwood area. His death was the result of a gunshot wound to the chest. The incident occurred on a Thursday night, and the Leflore County Sheriff's Department promptly initiated an investigation into the fatal shooting.
