Darryl Davis, a 26-year-old Hinds County deputy, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2017, in what has been determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident occurred in Madison, Mississippi, where Davis was found dead alongside his girlfriend, Lakrisna "Kris" Myers, aged 28. The Madison County Sheriff's Department responded to a welfare check at Myers' home in the Northwind subdivision after both Davis and Myers failed to report to work.
