In what was determined to be a tragic murder-suicide, 26-year-old Darryl Davis, a Hinds County deputy, was found dead in Madison, Mississippi, on March 15, 2017. The Madison County Sheriff's Department discovered his body alongside that of his 28-year-old girlfriend, Lakrisna 'Kris' Myers, at her home in the Northwind subdivision. Concerns were raised after both Davis and Myers failed to show up for their respective jobs.
