On a summer evening in 2017, the life of Lacy White Jr., a Black male, was tragically cut short in Crenshaw, Mississippi. On June 4th, deputies from the Panola County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of gunfire on Old Highway Rd. Upon their arrival, they discovered White's body lying in the yard of a residence. He had been fatally shot.
