Deshun Anderson, a 19-year-old from Crenshaw, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2021, in a mass shooting at the Marie Lyles Meadows Apartments. The incident, which occurred around 7:30 p.m., resulted in the deaths of Anderson and 24-year-old Derrick Small Jr., and left three others critically injured.
