Derrick Dewayne Small Jr., aged 24, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2021, in Crenshaw, Mississippi. The incident occurred at the Marie Lyles Meadows Apartments, where a mass shooting took place. Authorities reported that multiple firearms were used, with between 60 to 100 rounds fired throughout the apartment complex.
