In the small community of De Kalb, Mississippi, the life of a young man was cut short on September 9, 2017. Quinten Lefonzo 'Quint' Pollock, a 21-year-old Black male, passed away, leaving his family and community in search of answers. Born on March 2, 1996, in the nearby city of Meridian, Quinten was the eldest son of Lefonzo 'Pete' and Linda Paten Pollock and was raised in the Liberty Community of De Kalb. His untimely death was a significant blow to those who knew him.
