On what should have been a day of celebration, New Year's Day of 2018 turned tragic in Gautier, Mississippi, marking the untimely death of 30-year-old Harold Edwards. The day unfolded with a fatal altercation in the front yard of a home on Westpark Drive. Edwards, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, and another man, 22-year-old Al Jerome Jackson of Biloxi, had arrived at the residence of 40-year-old Willie Campbell Jr. for reasons that authorities did not publicly disclose but stated were not random. ...
