On a late March day in 2018, a violent confrontation in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, ended the life of 48-year-old Roger Darnell Jenkins of Jackson. The tragic events unfolded on March 29th, when Jenkins was fatally shot during an altercation at a local residence. Another individual, Shuronda Robinson, was also shot but survived her injuries. The male victim, Jenkins, succumbed to the gunshot wounds he sustained.
