In the summer of 2018, the life of one-year-old Kamaya Lloyd was cut tragically short in what became a devastating murder-suicide. The events unfolded on July 5, 2018, when her father, 23-year-old Lavonte Lloyd, abducted her and her mother at gunpoint from a home in Cruger, Mississippi. While Kamaya's mother was left behind, Lavonte fled with their young daughter, sparking a frantic multi-county police chase.
