Maria Martinez, age 37, was tragically killed on August 28, 2010, in what was later recognized as a brutal attack involving multiple family members in the Gage Park neighborhood of Chicago. The incident took place in the Martinez family home, where six members of the family were found dead, including Maria's parents, Noe and Rosaura Martinez, her brother Noe Jr., and her two young sons, Leonardo and Alexis.
