The Waveland Police Department responded to a call of a gunshot victim and, upon their arrival, immediately began administering first aid to Christian, who had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to University Medical Center in New Orleans, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries. The initial investigation by law enforcement revealed a harrowing sequence of events that led to the fatal shooting.
According to the Waveland Police Chief, another passenger in the truck was handling a handgun when it discharged. The individual, who was not the driver, had removed the firearm from a holster in an attempt to secure it.
