In the spring of 2021, a fatal confrontation unfolded in Scott County, Mississippi, involving 28-year-old Perry Lee Webb, a White/Caucasian male who was a lifelong resident of the Forest community. The incident occurred on Thursday, April 22, at a location along Highway 21, just north of the city limits. Webb, known to his friends and family for his love of mechanics, fishing, and country music, became embroiled in a heated disagreement that would ultimately cost him his life.
