On a Wednesday afternoon, the quiet of a rural community was shattered by gunfire, leaving two teenagers dead and a community searching for answers. The life of 19-year-old Deionteque Thyun Strong of Forest, Mississippi, was cut tragically short on November 19, 2025. He was discovered alongside 18-year-old Todd Anderson in the Harperville community of Scott County.
Around 4:00 p.m., deputies from the Scott County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired on King Road.
Upon their arrival, they found Strong and Anderson deceased at the scene, both having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The initial investigation provided few leads for law enforcement, leaving the motive behind the double homicide a mystery.
