In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Coahoma, Mississippi, on August 10, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace and irrevocably altered the lives of several families. When deputies from the Coahoma County Sheriff's Department arrived at the scene of the shooting, they discovered a tragic scene with multiple victims. One of the victims, a 14-year-old male named Zymarious Smith, was gravely injured.
