On a cold March evening in 2022, Mikel Craven, a 41-year-old male from Cedarbluff, Mississippi, was found lying in a ditch off Blake Road in Clay County. At first, responding deputies were unsure if he had been struck by a vehicle, as he was wearing heavy clothing and there was a significant amount of blood.
