Jeremy Hackett, a 15-year-old from Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2022. According to reports, Jeremy was shot twice in the lower back while in the breezeway of an apartment complex on West Highland Drive. The incident occurred during a violent weekend in Jackson, which saw multiple homicides. Jeremy succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
