On a Tuesday evening in Columbus, Mississippi, a family dispute escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 55-year-old Julius L. Wilson. The events unfolded on December 13, 2022, at a residence on Jess Lyons Road. A heated argument had broken out between 21-year-old Bobby Childs Jr. and a woman with whom he had been staying. Feeling threatened, the woman, who was Wilson's niece, called her uncle for help.
