In the winter of 2019, the life of a bright-eyed toddler was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. Two-year-old Riah Janae Thomas, a female, was shot and killed on December 16, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The incident that claimed her life also left her grandmother wounded, adding another layer of tragedy to the devastating event. At the time of the shooting, Riah and her grandmother were in a vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
