On a tragic day in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of a young Black/African American woman was cut short by violence. Twenty-four-year-old Kimberly LaShawn Hopkins was fatally shot on April 14, 2020, in an incident that also left a second victim with devastating injuries.
