On a Sunday morning in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the life of 38-year-old Hispanic male Zachary Rivera was cut short by an act of violence. On September 27, 2020, police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Rivera deceased outside a residence, having sustained gunshot wounds to his upper torso. The discovery marked the beginning of a tense and prolonged confrontation with the man identified as the shooter.
