In the late afternoon of April 10, 2022, the life of 29-year-old Shawn Wood, a white male, was tragically cut short in a residence at 350 S. Birch in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 4:54 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wood inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Alliance Health in Ponca City, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
