On a spring evening in Milwaukee, a dispute spiraled into a tragedy that claimed the life of 38-year-old Bernice Jackson. The events of May 25, 2009, unfolded on the city's west side, in the 3400 block of North 58th Street, where an argument escalated to fatal violence. The incident, which also resulted in the injury of a 17-year-old boy, was reportedly connected to a child-custody dispute.
