On a peaceful Sunday morning, August 5, 2012, a day of worship turned into a scene of terror at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek. Among the congregation was Baba Punjab Singh, a 72-year-old Indian man and respected Sikh priest. His life, dedicated to teaching the lessons and history of the Sikh faith, was irrevocably altered when a gunman opened fire on the worshippers.
