In the early morning hours of June 26, 2015, a violent encounter in a Milwaukee apartment building left one man dead and another seriously wounded. Nor Davis, a 27-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in what police would investigate as a homicide. The incident unfolded around 8:30 a.m. in the 8200 block of West Appleton Avenue.
