On a Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of a Black/African American male, 16-year-old Travon S. Overton, was tragically cut short. It was October 13, 2016, when gunfire erupted, and Overton became a victim of a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in the 200 block of N. 38th St., where police would later find the young man.
