On a Wednesday morning in Milwaukee, the life of 15-year-old Deaundra Taylor, a Black or African American male, was tragically cut short. On November 1, 2017, a day that began like any other, Deaundra was shot in the vicinity of 5th and Locust. In the immediate aftermath of the violence, he was taken and dropped off at a local hospital. Despite the urgent medical attention he received, the injuries he sustained proved to be fatal, and he died later that day.
