On May 18, 2018, Robert Pettit, a 53-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot in Conrath, Wisconsin. At the time of the incident, law enforcement officials identified the case as a homicide and began a search for a suspect who was believed to be on the loose. The Rusk County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the shooting death of the local resident.
