In the late hours of a summer evening in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the life of Dajun Williams, a 24-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On August 19, 2020, just before 10:30 PM, the sound of gunfire shattered the night in the area of 61st Street and 11th Avenue. When officers from the Kenosha Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered that Williams had been fatally shot. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
