On February 3, 2021, the life of Ray Leonard Engelking, a 72-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in what was described as a heroic act. In the quiet community of Kewaskum, Wisconsin, Engelking was killed at his residence while defending his wife from a home intruder. The Engelking family later confirmed that Ray was fatally shot during a violent struggle with the assailant who had forced his way into their home and assaulted his wife, Deborah.
