Robert G. Jackson-Wright Jr., 28, a Black male from Milwaukee, was shot and killed on the morning of December 28, 2021. Shortly before 8 a.m., police were called to the area near North 85th Street and West Congress Street, by the Lindsay Park neighborhood on the city’s northwest side. First reports said little about what led up to the gunfire, only that the victim was found with fatal injuries and that detectives were piecing together the moments before the shots rang out.
