Jion Broomfield, a 19-year-old from Beloit, Wisconsin, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2022. He was fatally shot outside Beloit Memorial High School following a basketball game. The incident occurred in the school's parking lot, where numerous witnesses were present. Despite the presence of many onlookers, initial cooperation with the police was limited, which frustrated both the authorities and Jion's family.
