On a Tuesday afternoon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on March 8, 2022, Mario Granville, a 33-year-old Black man, was fatally shot while driving his Jeep near the intersection of 91st Street and Appleton Avenue. The gunfire caused Granville to lose control of his vehicle and crash into a light pole. When police arrived, they found him unresponsive in the driver's seat. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died from multiple gunshot wounds.
