In a quiet home on West Third Street in Appleton, Wisconsin, the life of Shannon Swanson, a 35-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was tragically cut short on June 6, 2022. That evening, just before 9:00 p.m., police were called to the residence she shared with 32-year-old Mitchell Kounelis, where they made a grim discovery. Both Swanson and Kounelis were found deceased inside the home.
