In the early morning hours of July 22, 2022, a tragic story unfolded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that ended the life of 41-year-old Valentino Stokes, a Black male. What began as a night out ended in a fatal shooting that also claimed the life of 37-year-old Christopher Bugembe. The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of West Fond du Lac Avenue and Congress.
