Dantoni Aubrey, a 23-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2022, in a shooting incident that occurred near 33rd and Center. The incident stemmed from a dispute over the cost of marijuana. According to reports, Richard Lewis, 22, admitted to opening fire on a vehicle during an argument over the price of marijuana. The altercation escalated when Lewis believed the seller was reaching for something, prompting him to fire multiple shots at the vehicle.
